Individual Therapy

We offer individual therapy, which is a form of therapy in which the client is treated on a one-on-one basis with a therapist through creating an individualized treatment program supported by scientific research.

The most commonly used and supported form of treatment for OCD is cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), particularly exposure and response prevention. We also incorporate mindfulness-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy or ACT.

Teletherapy

We offer teletherapy and telephone sessions through HIPAA compliant platforms. Teletherapy can help break down the barriers to care and make help more accessible, efficient, and affordable.

Overall, the research supports that teletherapy is as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy for a range of circumstances.

Therapists are ethically and legally bound by privacy laws to not share details about their teletherapy sessions with third parties, just as with face-to-face sessions.

Our free OCD Support Group is held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings of each month, from 7pm to 9pm.  Because of the importance of giving each member an opportunity to share and get feedback from the group, sometimes this group lasts until 9:30pm or 10pm.  It is encouraged that members stay for the entire group to give other members their attention and respect as well as important feedback that you might have for them. During group on the 4th Wednesday of each month, a breakout group will be available for the support people in the lives of those who suffer with OCD.

Co-sponsored by Dr. John Hart who donates his time to help people who suffer with OCD as well as the support people in their lives.
